Ford FX6 Territory Venom High Flow Bolt-On Cat Pipe.
Made from 304-grade stainless steel
5" Body 100 cell core Two-year warranty Polished finish Supports power of 320awkw+ Easy bolt-on installation No welding or cutting required
The Venom Territory Turbo Cat pipe is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory cat pipe found on Territory Turbos and FPV F6Xs. It is constructed from 304 grade stainless steel and utilizes our 500 Series 5 inch body 100 CPSI Metal Core Cat. The factory cat with its restrictive ceramic substrate is the main limiting factor in the Territory exhaust. By designing a complete bolt in replacement that integrates flawlessly with the standard exhaust system, it provides the perfect addition for those chasing power up to 320awkw without having to modify/port the Turbo or change the rest of the exhaust.
**Vehicle must be custom tuned to run this cat otherwise it will overboost and engine damage may result**
The standard exhaust found on the Territory Turbo is quite capable for a factory item and it provides good flow for power levels up to 320awkw (with the factory bung removed). The Venom Bolt-on cat pipe will, therefore, allow you to get the most out of your Territory Turbo without the need to change to a larger exhaust system or dump pipe or even having to port the factory internal wastage to allow for consistent boost control. Most tuners advise this to be done when fitting a larger free flowing dump pipe and exhaust system.
The other key benefits of being a bolt on section is that involves no messy cutting or welding and no extra flanges. Best of all, you can easily return the car back to stock if the need arises and even refit your original heat shields to the new cat.
The High Flow Cat on this piece is made from 304 grade stainless and utilizes a large 5” body 100 CPSI metal core substrate. This substrate, as well as being welded to the casing, is also welded along the inner edges for extra strength, helping to prevent core substrate shift. By working with the standard exhaust system, the higher flowing substrate provides a deeper more purposeful exhaust note under acceleration whilst remaining quiet under cruising conditions.
